Artist's Comments
In the show Avatar the Last Airbender, there is an episode where Katara finds a Waterbending scroll, and uses it to learn the Water Whip move. The scroll they show has actual tai chi moves on it.
I attempted to reproduce it to give it a more detailed look, but found it was hard to get the spacing of the moves correct. So I eventually decided to do a trace. So I traced it very carefully with marker. This is more of a practice one then anything else, because I plan to do a firebending scroll of my own based on this look. Tools: parchment, black sharpie, blue marker. |
